The deceiving contentment
Given that virtually all of us desire to demonstrate the Genesis 1 verses 26 – 28 fruitfulness that enables us ‘to initially conceive and pursue our next aspired for’ higher accomplishments. And subsequently increase and multiply our leadership influence ‘by extending to people around our lives’ whatever our grown to or experienced growth.
We would then expect the core source of most of our daily life encountered frustrations, to be that of ‘our lacking our anticipated opportunities’ for growing to our desired higher accomplishment levels.
However, and contrary to this expectation ‘of being frustrated by the lack of opportunities’ for growing to your desired higher accomplishment levels, a significant majority of people in the world ‘conversely seek to be content despite their lacking’ their desired higher accomplishments! The core cause of this ‘seeking our contentment with supposed to be frustrating’ lackings, is what Proverbs 29 verse 18 or Hosea 4 verse 6 describe as ‘our lack of the revelation and knowledge’ of the purpose, for which we were created in the image and likeness of God.
The Proverbs and Hosea scriptures further highlight the core consequence of this lack of revelation and knowledge, as our perishing. And this our perishing ‘is evidenced by most of us living’ the 1 Peter 1 verse 18 empty way of life. Which witnesses the perishment and not the fulfilment, of not only whatever our desired higher accomplishments, but also ‘our created for and redeemed for’ earthly ruling and God serving Leadership Inheritance. In the same way all biblical Israel’s elders except Joshua and Caleb, lived ‘the wilderness wandering and perishment witnessing’ empty way of life.
As any of us can encounter these debilitating consequences ‘of lacking the revelation and knowledge of the purpose’ for which we were created in the image and likeness of God, and as evidenced by ‘our being contented with supposed to be frustrating’ lackings. Each of us should seek ‘to always break-out’ of this deceiving and perishment bringing contentment. By one’s always seeking ‘the revelation and knowledge which awakens one’ to the limitless advancement potential, of our created in image and likeness of God’s boundless power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing.
